SAKER FALCONS TAGGED WITH TRANSMITTERS IN SLOVAKIA

Using this method, where the movements of individuals can be tracked essentially continuously in an online environment, we can get unique data on movements, hunting territories, migration routes, as well as the dangers that mostly juveniles have to face.
The installation of the transmitters was realized thanks to the support of the Endowment Fund of the Slovak Electricity Transmission System, a.s. (SEPS) in the Pontis Foundation and LIFE Danube Free Sky project, co-funded by the European Union under the LIFE programme.
