EDUCATIONAL BIRDWATCHING - WE DISCOVER NATURE TOGETHER!
The third birdwatching action organized within the LIFE DANUBE FREE SKY project has been organized this week in Romania🇷🇴, on which a group of students from the Brad Segal Technical High School in Tulcea accompanied by the coordinating teacher and representatives of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve Authority ARBDD - Administratia Rezervatiei Biosferei Delta Dunarii explored the beauty of nature through an exciting activity. With the binoculars ready and a lot of enthusiasm,
we set out on an adventure to discover the avifaunistic diversity in the area of the Somova Parche Lake Complex in the Danube Delta, a place of distinctive beauty and rich biodiversity.
Students, future environmental protection specialists, were excited to find out many interesting things about the species targeted by the LIFE Danube Free Sky project that benefit from protection by implementing their activities. Among the species observed were bee-eaters, European rollers, pelicans, corns, cormorants, egrets, swans, and other species.
Each bird spotted has helped us to better understand natural habitats and the importance of protecting them.
This educational activity brought students closer to nature, inspiring them to pay more attention to biodiversity and conservation measures.
