THE LIFE DANUBE FREE SKY TEAM WISHES YOU HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022!
With 2021 coming to the end, it is time for a little sum-up of the achievements we were able to accomplish with our common effort so far :)
- 82 field assistants trained
- 1500 km of power lines searched
- more than 1500 cadavers found
- 230 maps prepared for the baseline surveys
- 6 transmitters installed on saker falcons
- more than 10ha of land transformation to the pastures with first results in increasing species spotted within the area
- 15 notice boards have been installed so far
- successful presentation of the project in media (191 tracked media appearances)
- and at 14 networking events
We are looking forward to the next challenges in 2022 while we will continue with our work to create a free sky over the Danube for our precious birds.
