Join us!🙂 From 10:00 - 12:00 we invite you to a birdwatching event at Hrušovská zdrž (Čunovo - Bratislava, Slovakia) with expert commentary, we will also talk about the activities we are implementing to protect birds from hitting power lines with the demonstrations of flight diverters.

Hrušovská zdrž is part of the Special Protection Area Dunajské luhy, which was declared also for the protection of wintering birds. This place has become a key wintering site for several species. Flocks of wintering Tufted Duck and Common Pochard reach one of the highest numbers in Central Europe. Wintering Common Goldeneye in severe winters even forms the largest aggregations in Europe. In total, more than 40 species of waterfowl can be observed here during the winter.
