SATELLITE TRANSMITTERS ON HUNGARIAN IMPERIAL EAGLES
This summer, 5 juveniles of the Imperial Eagle in Hungary were equipped with satellite transmitters thanks to cooperation with the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society MME - Magyar Madártani Egyesület, BirdLife Hungary.
The aim is to detect the movements of the eagles, identify possible dangers (including dangerous utility poles), and gain data about the connectivity of populations from different countries. We wish our eagles safe flights!
