With 2021 coming to the end, it is time for a little sum-up of the achievements we were able to accomplish with our common effort so far :)
- 82 field assistants trained
- 1500 km of power lines searched
- more than 1500 cadavers found
The 12th MAVIR Bird Conservation Conference was organized by our project partner MAVIR in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture (AM), the Herman Ottó Institute (HOI), BirdLife Hungary (MME), and LIFE Danube Free Sky project. The Conference took place on the 25th of November 2021 and was held online due to the worsening pandemic situation at the time being.
On the 24th of November, the Second Project Board Meeting was held with the participation of the project partners. Our colleagues from all project countries had the opportunity to present the results achieved so far, thus ensuring the exchange of information and experience among all project beneficiaries.
Today we installed 3 notice boards in Slovakia (near cycling roads in Čunovo, Bratislava, Klížska Nemá, and nearby Environmental Education Centre Dropie) that will inform passers-by about the main activities we are working on under our project. Together, 22 info boards will be installed in all project countries. Check the design HERE!
